Another beautiful morning unfolds over the Pacific Ocean and onto the land of the rising sun. We are in the Sanriku Fukko (reconstruction) National Park. The small islands or rocks sticking out of the ocean surface are said to look like Godzilla’s back poking out of the ocean surface. All the white stones on the beach are rhyolite. Enjoy the sounds of waves and fishing boats returning or departing. High in the sky, kites are gliding, seldom coming into frame. Japanese cormorants are flying lower as if they are wanting to be part of this movie.
