Most enemy groups are a mix of melee and ranged units, so a forged Hand Axe is the best weapon against them. Up until Chapter 23, the following weapons are forged to have 5 more Might and 10 more Accuracy: 9 Hand Axes, 4 Steel Axes, 1 Steel Sword and 1 Steel Lance. As the game progresses, there is a minor issue that can interfere with strategies called enemy stat variation. When a map is loaded, enemy stats work off of a range and can be low, average or high. For example, there's a chance Lethe can't kill the Cavaliers with her base stats. It's not an major issue now but later on, even units with maxed stats might not be able to beat above-average enemies easily. Black Knight will appear from the middle house the turn after the boss moves. He will also act immediately upon appearing, which can lead to any unit in his range dying.
