Sanskrit, Greek, and Latin: A Tale of Three Sisters: Dhruv Raj Sharma Dhruv Raj Sharma is the pioneer of the etymology education revolution globally. He is the CEO of Logophilia Education. the world’s only etymology education organization through which he works with 57 schools and 21 universities in India, the United States, and the UAE to promote the study of vocabulary as the most fundamental ability in students. Sanskrit, Greek, and Latin: A Tale of Three Sisters Sanskrit is a Proto-Indo-European language, much like Greek and Latin. Together, the daughters of these three PIE languages contribute at least 64% (640,000) of the words of the English Language. Watch Dhruv Raj Sharma deliver a fascinating talk about how English is practically a step-daughter to Sanskrit, and how it is ironic that anyone born to a Sanskrit-derived language should be less-than-God-like at understanding English.
