This Extus, Oriq Overlord // Awaken the Blood Avatar deck tech is my ode to Dethklok, for being the best fictional comedic metal band of all time. This deck is built around creating tons of tokens, abusing Extus’ ability to recur creatures while spell slinging, and around casting Awaken the Blood Avatar as many times as possible to help close out the game. The deck gets wins by burning its opponents out, overwhelming them with tokens, and with the odd voltron win. Mardu got a neat gift in this set, and I hope you enjoy it!
