Cannabis is the most commonly used illicit substance in Canada. In 2018, Canada became the second country in the world to legalize the non-medical use of cannabis. The Canadian experience will set a number of important international precedents, with the potential to inform cannabis policy in other countries. This documentary series, “Cannabis Legalization in Canada: A Mini-Series”, explores various themes within cannabis legalization, and features interviews with a range of stakeholders, including government officials, industry representatives, and academics. In episode 2, we speak to : • Tyler James, the Director of Communication for Eden Medicinal Society • Anonymous, a Representative from a Cannabis Dispensary • Mark Ware, the Vice-chair from the Task Force on Cannabis Legalization and Regulation • Mark Cavdar, an Associate Counsel to a Licensed Producer And together they explore Canada’s illegal cannabis dispensaries. **Please note that this episode was created before Ontario changed their licensing laws for legal cannabis.
