This driveway looks like butter. The toothbar just dug right through it. In reality, the driveway was hard-packed. It had been in place for many years. For the prior owner, it had been used for parking a large tour-bus. The John Deere 1025R can accomplish much larger tasks than what one might first think. Of course, a larger tractor would have much more power, but it would not be able to maneuver in many of the tight location where I find myself. The backhow may not be the most powerful or smooth ever made, but it sure does beat a shovel. The Kubota BX may be better, who knows?
