This morning the Holy Spirit woke me up with this melody while I was still sleeping. I do believe you have the same experience personally with the Lord. it may not be the time when you sleep but sometime all of sudden a melody just fills your heart and it prompts you just to repeat it before you lose it for the Lord is using the hymn to talk to you. As I was singing this hymn I was so touched, my tears streamed down my face, my eyes got blurred.... it is another comforting hymn the Lord has given to those faithfully taking the cross and following Him. As you can heart it, I am not professional singer, I am simply least of all saints singing the hymn from my heart to the Lord for His good pleasure. I have to confess this is the first time I sing this melody. I am sharing this hymn again to all the saints for the Lord encourages us all to look away from everything else , let our sorrow or grief harm us not and look to Jesus the eternal rock for timely help. If I can sing with my heart to the Lord, I am sure the Lord will lead you to sing boldly even sweeter, stronger and higher to His satisfaction. As Brother Watchman Nee wrote in one of his hymns that we'll soon see the Lord, as He is, face to face, we'll know Him as never before; but that touch today, healing our broken heart, on that day will be felt no more. That day, though our lips offer unceasing praise, on that day we have no more tears, then, nor prayers fervent burn; Nor is there the comfort we received through much pain, nor trust and hope gained through fiery trials to learn, There will be no more tempest, tribulations, tossed about and tremendous pressure for us to learn and be refined by the Lord any more. Hebrews 11:37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, the world was not worthy of them. Dear brothers and sisters, don't lose the opportunity to experience and please God and grab the day as we still have it today. We can not sing enough of Him and serve enough of Him. Compare with eternal weight of glory our momentary light affliction is nothing. Amen? In our service, pain is pleasure, we consider loss as to gain Christ. Soon shall close thy earthly mission, Soon shall pass thy pilgrim days, Hope shall change to glad fruition, Faith to sight, and prayer to praise! Dear brothers and sisters,I may not have chance to see you all face to face this life but on that day we will be seeing each other among all the wise virgins of God, those who have their cross taken and have oils in their lamps. We will fall down and give tribute to our Abba Father. All the glory to God the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit our triune God forever and ever Amen!
