For the first time since the 1900’s, I am choosing not to attend Burning Man. #BurningMan #burningman2025 For a quarter century, Burning Man has been more than just, “something I did.” It was the focus of my life. If we crossed paths at any point in the last quarter century, I can be pretty certain we talked about the 10 Principles. Of course , most of the events I chose to attend were connected to Burner culture in some way. But even if we met at a partner’s work function. Or a wedding. Or during voir dire when I was called for Jury Duty. I couldn’t help it. My spirituality, philosophy. Personal growth, and identity were all Burn-influenced. It was virtually impossible to talk about myself without referencing the 10 Principles.
