The 2022 Rolling Retro will be remembered as the day surfers had to brave giant waves at Llandudno on classic surfboards. Amazingly not one board was broken and every surfer, bodysurfer and kneeboarder (Shout to the Frogster) made it back to the beach in one piece too. The event had a 3 year break due to Covid and both locals and punters at Llandudno, Cape Town, were super stoked to have the event back. Retro music, golden sun on the beach, ice cold beers and classic surfing - what more could you want for a great day at the beach. Congrats to Stef Burrows for taking out the Surfer of the Day with some hard charging on his backhand. Everyone who paddled out deserved a big high 5.
