The Calvary is not on the way when it comes to building affordable housing in the City of Vancouver. Politicians talk a big talk when it comes to building more homes in this city but what will these new homes be priced at and what is considered affordable these days? Consider the high costs to secure buildable land, skyrocketing construction costs, labour shortages, inflation and interest rates rising and slow absorption rates. Nothing being built in Vancouver is going to remotely resemble affordable housing for all but the highest of income earners. Thanks to all the viewers and commenters on all my videos.
