On Monday 11th November 2024, we walked from Dudley Flood Street to Great Bridge along the line of the West Midlands Metro Black Country Valley extension. Tram stops are in place at Flood Street, Dudley town centre, Dudley Castle, Tipton Road, Birmingham New Road (Hanson's Bridge), Horseley Road and Great Bridge with work already begun at Dudley Port and Sedgeley Road. Good progress is now being made along the line as HM Government has put funds in place to extend the line from Flood Street to Brierley Hill via Merryhill Shopping Centre. We apologise for the section towards the end of the video where our camera managed to switch itself on and film sideways and even upside down. Please fast forward or, indeed, have a good laugh. We don't usually make this sort of error. We hope you enjoy this presentation and that you will give it a “thumbs up” and subscribe to our channel: Youtube Podbaba Transport.
