I think Konica doesn't get the love it deserves sometimes. But they were serious about pushing the envelope of what we could expect from cameras. Take the original Konica Auto-Reflex from 1965. It was the first 35mm, focal-plane shutter, SLR to offer autoexposure. By the time the T3 arrived in 1973, their shutter-priority system had evolved to the point of providing excellent results with a minimum of effort. And their line of excellent Hexanon lenses made this a very nice system!
