Outlaw Rogue - Zekvir Harmode ?? - 601 Ilvl - completed 24th of November 2024 after Nerfs to both Brann and Zekvir. Let me solo him - done 24th of November 2024 - TWW Patch 11.05 00:00 Fight 05:55 Gear 06:24 Stats 06:33 Brann setup 06:38 Talents 07:01 Damage Meter 07:28 Healing Meter 07:47 Ending Priorities in this fight. 1) Survive. If you can live this fight you will eventually kill it. 2) Kill Cocoon's(optimally before it turns to spider). It's better to exert cooldowns to dependably kill the cocoon than it is saving them for spider. 3) Interrupt Zekvir heal. This becomes even more important p2. When it heals for 25% instead of 10% p1. 4) Play around Brann. His potions leave a HoT that stacks. Just like his traps leave a stacking DoT. If Brann dies you can survive as long as you notice potions and prepare them for a HoT. Also, if you glow yellow, you have a damage reduction making you immune to CC, such as Enfeeble Spittle and the ear! 5) Damage on Zekvir. It's a kill even if it takes 20 minutes. Very important, if Zekvir is about to cast Smash or Web, don't go to the add yet. Smash often goes on Brann, who might be wrongly positioned, but Web ALWAYS goes on you. And in p2 you wanna face Zekvir 45-90 degrees away from the cocoon to bait it, so you can do free damage. For making it easier have some macro's: ex #showtooltip /tar Zekvir /cast Kick Best of luck to you all, Outlaw Rogue is incredible on this challenge. You don't need any kind of cd's for cocoon because of the sustained damage you have is enough. That and, well, you technically have cd's but they're so vastly reduced because of outlaw's CD reduction from casting combo-spending abilities. Also, I'd like to say, this challenge was made infinitely easier, by me being a gnome. I can remove snare/root effects on a 1 min cd, meaning I never really had it and could save cloak for other things! So yeah, might wanna change! :P Should've been a gnome for the prot warr challenge..! I'd also like to mention. Vanish. It's a core part of your rotation, but beware! Do NOT use it, if Brann is currently "dead", Zekvir is VERY LIKELY, to reset, unless one of his pets is up. Even then it can reset in my experience. So only use Vanish for dmg when Brann is available! Talents I used: https://www.wowhead.com/talent-calc/r... Where I took talents from! https://www.archon.gg/wow/builds/outl... I scrolled to the talent page. Because I don't like talents using Keep It Rolling. Will explain in a moment. Sikran and Ky'veza are both pure ST target fights, so they're good to check for setup! In the Rogue Tree: I copy-pasted, and I've been playing Outlaw Rogue most of the bunch. So the talents were all familiar to me and I stuck with them. Only thing to say here is. Regardless of what spec you are, if you're not a Gnome. You should take Unbreakable Stride to help with Enfeeble Spittle. You can outsustain, and you only have to deal with it from time to time, as Brann will dispel you and you can Cloak every 4th~. For Hero talents I just stuck with Fatebound. It feels good to play and I like it thematically. I did however change Death's Arrival into Inexorable March. I'd never be using Grappling Hook twice in row, and I'd prefer it's cd not rising either. Besides. Inexorable March is technically valuable against Enfeeble Spittle. In the rogue tree I went with the 10% haste build. You remove: Keep It Rolling. Summarily Dispatched(2/2). Triple Threat. For then taking. Audacity. Hidden Opportunity. Take 'em by Surprise(2/2). Oh and I removed Improved Main Gauche for Killing Spree cause I love that ability! I wouldn't suggest it since you lose control of your character yet your chat is still very much able to be killed or cc'd. It happened. I was surprised to see Outlaw Rogue had a decent amount of haste which lead me to the Rogue Discord https://www.icy-veins.com/forums/topi... Under Outlaw I saw that the talents I dislike require 20% haste to be optimal, and the ones I like require 10%. So I went with the 10% one and had 12 % Haste for the kill. Then it goes into a lot of Versa and a bit less crit, however. Because of the Hero Talent - Tempted Fate. Crit becomes a bit better for survival and squares up more with Versa! Stats: So My stats are 10% Haste, with a lot of Versa and crit closely followed, and as little mastery as tier pieces allow! My trinkets are: 1) Darkmoon Deck: Ascension. I fucking love this trinket. 2) Quickwick Candlestick. Embellishment: Double Elemental Focusing Lens, cause it's allgedly best for 2/3 rogue specs!
