Members of our Brass Band, along with some kind helpers, played carols on BBC Radio Leeds with Gayle Lofthouse, who was also joined by our Divisional Commander, Alec Still on Monday, 22nd December. The image on screen is courtesy of one of our young people, Lydia, who designed the card for The Salvation Army's Christmas card competition. This year’s theme was ‘Love Came Down’, and we asked participants to show us what love looks like to them at Christmas. Lydia’s incredible nativity design truly captured the theme and stood out as a clear winner. Well done, Lydia – what a wonderful design! Lydia said: “I was really excited to win as I worked really hard on the picture. I wanted to show all of the children taking part in a nativity and having fun.” You can support it and send your Christmas e-card: https://www.dontsendmeacard.com/ecard... We are part of The Salvation Army, a worldwide Christian church and registered charity serving in over 130 countries.
