Salvador Allende: 1st Socialist President of Latin America | Profit From The Past November 3 1970

On November 3, 1970 Salvador Allende was elected president of Chile. He was the first socialist president to ever take office in a Latin American democracy. Allende’s time in office was horribly chaotic. However, his controversial presidency would be cut short three years later by a military coup carried by Augusto Pinochet with backing from the CIA. 50 years later, we continue to witness many of the same ideological, economic, and political struggles that defined Allende’s rise and fall. Our world is no less conflicted or dangerous. That’s why Jason has made defense and security stocks a cornerstone of his investment philosophy. He's even launched my own investment advisory to profit from such chaos. Learn more about Jason's premium investment newsletter, Wall Street's Proving Grounds, right here: https://secure2.angelpub.com/o/op/411139 Profit From the Past is a weekly series that examines historical events and the opportunity they provide to us today, usually in the stock market. Every Wednesday host Jason Simpkins will discuss a different historical event on (or around) its anniversary, and how it has created an investment opportunity for us today. #salvadorallende #socialistpresident #latinamerica #socialism Disclaimer: We do not provide personal investment advice.
