It includes madah, a spiritual performance of sung Sufi poetry lasting for hours, and bazmi, folk songs rooted in oral tradition. A unique scale and diverse rhythms (Benze, Rastau, Rahpai, Petrajag) define its sound. Songs like Spek Bazai, Bapirak Bazai, and Shah Mubarak are characteristic of the region. Vocals have a clear, smoky, nasal tone, essential in Falak Sober dirges, performed a cappella or with instruments. Traditional instruments include the ghijak (pointed violin), daf (frame drum), ney (end-blown flute), and local rubab and tanbur variations.
