Direct Rail Services' depot at Gresty Bridge, Crewe, opened it doors for it's annual Open Day - with crowds of enthusiasts taking up the rare chance to see inside the shed at the Depot, as well as bearing witness to the assembled collection of locos for the event. Three locos were named over the course of the day, as follows; Class 37 - 37424 named "Avro Vulcan XH558" and renumbered to 37558, Class 47 - 47712 named "Lady Diana Spencer", and Class 47 - 1944 was named "Craftsman". The latter two, being reinstatement's of previously carried names.
