Agency: SF MUNI Bus: #5011 Model: 2023 Nova Bus LFSe+ Route: 44 O'Shaughnessy to California + 6th Av From: Silver Ave & Mission St To: Lawton & 9th Ave The second Muni Nova Battery Electric Bus has entered into service, 5011! 5011 and 5012 Nova Buses has been on property for a few months now and was delivered this year, and unexpectedly 5011 was put into service already on the 44 on 10/19/24. If you live in the East coast, you see bunch of Nova Buses, but on the west coast including SF, it is rare to see Nova Buses, as we are dominated by mainly New Flyer and Gillig buses. I caught 5011 on its first day of service on the 44 and rode it from Silver and Mission to 9th and Judah. The bus ran really quick and wasn't a crowded bus. This unit has a slightly lower pitch turn signal, and currently has extremely loud route announcements! Seating layout is the same as 5010 and 5012.
