Musashi has just defeated the final Crest Guardian, the Tower of Death, and it just so happened to be sitting right on top of its own Sky Crest. With Musashi eager to find out what kind of power he'll get from activating the Sky Crest, and complete Lumina, his victory was put to a screeching halt. Out from one platform was Fuhrer Flatski, who finally got to meet Musashi in person. Alongside him was Princess Fillet in his clutches. The other platform was Colonel Capriccola looking down on Musashi silently. Flatski orders Capriccola to take Lumina from Musashi, but he surprisingly refuses to listen. This whole time, Capriccola actually had a grudge against him for all of the lives he's killed, including the lives of his own parents. Flatski was confused because he doesn't remember killing Cappri's parents. That's when Capriccola removes his cape, and reveals his true form... -------------- Colonel Capriccola was Jon all along! At that moment, Flatski remembered Jon, especially his hat. But it goes deeper than that. Jon is the Prince of the Thirstquencher Empire, seeking revenge on Flatski for killing his parents, the Empire's King & Queen. It was said that Thirstquencher was originally friends with Allucaneet Palace, but Flatski's actions must've soured the relationship. So Jon disguised himself as Capriccola to re-enter his own empire, and work up the ranks so he could get closer to Flatski. With a pistol in his hand, he was ready open fire on Flatski, but... Suddenly, Rootrick, back after a VERY long absence, appeared behind Jon to shoot him the back, making him fall down to where Musashi was. Apparently, he's Flatski's son. With Musashi confused of what was going on around him, he was forced to trade his Lumina sword for the Princess. Flatski, being the jerk he is, THREW the poor girl down to Musashi. -------------- Now with Lumina in his hands, Flatski used it to activate the Sky Crest himself, revealing a terrible secret about the sword, and why he wanted to get it so badly... It unleashed a massive devil-like being called Dark Lumina a.k.a., the Wizard of Darkness himself. Flatski tried to order him to kill Musashi and his friends, but Dark Lumina decides to stomp him out of existence, first, showing that he won't take any orders. From Jon's words, some things Steward Ribson said about the Wizard of Darkness weren't correct. This beast was sealed WITHIN Lumina, not BY it. This was Flaski's plan for Musashi all throughout his whole adventure, and he succeeded. Musashi & Fillet were forced to run away, leaving poor Jon to be stomped to death by Dark Lumina, as well. Somehow, Lumina's original sword form managed to return to Musashi, anyway, -------------- Outside the building to some ancient part of Soda Fountain, you must now outrun the Wizard of Darkness through some tight jumps, while he destroys the ruins before him. If you fall here, you'll automatically die and will have to start the chase over. -------------- Manage to get to the end, and Musashi will discover that Kojiro has returned for another duel! With Fillet in HIS clutches, Kojiro won't let her go until Musashi beats him in a 3rd duel. But before they could get started, the Wizard of Darkness approaches Kojiro and absorbs him with enough force to send the Princess flying. The result of Kojiro's assimilation causes Dark Lumina to transform into hideous, green, lizard like beast, taking in Kojiro's mentality to duel Musashi to the death. Right now, Musashi was worried about finding Princess Fillet, so he starts climbing up a tower that will likely lead to her. Of course, with the new-and-improved Dark Lumina 2 nearby, that won't be a completely-easy task...
