2025 Literary Festival: Victoria Chang

Please join us on Tuesday, April 8, at 7 p.m. in Falvey Library’s Speakers’ Corner for a reading and talk by Victoria Chang, one of the Literary Festival’s featured speakers. Chang’s latest book of poems, With My Back to the World, was published in 2024 by Farrar, Straus & Giroux and Corsair Books in the U.K., and received the Forward Prize for Best Collection of Poetry. Her most recent book of poetry, The Trees Witness Everything was published by Copper Canyon Press and Corsair Books in the U.K. in 2022 and was named one of the Best Books of 2022 by the New Yorker and The Guardian. This ACS-approved event, co-sponsored by The English Department, the Creative Writing Program, Gender and Women’s Studies, the Center for Irish Studies, the Writing and Rhetoric Program, and Falvey Library is free and open to the public.
