EFX-1000 from Pioneer. http://www.djtutor.com/demos/fx In this video i take a look at the 3 dials found on the left of the unit depth, charicter and mix. These will change the efect being used. Always watch the out put !! toon is Kraak & Smaak, " squeeze me" Dry: Would be the original, , unaltered, unmodified signal coming from a sound source such as a turntable. Wet: Would be the (partly, or totally) modified signal containing effects after going through an effects processor. And from more reading on guitar amps (not sure if this applies to DJ mixers): "serial FX loop": all the dry signal goes through the FX loop, and gets all modified and becomes 100% wet (so if the FX processor is turned off, no sound comes at all because the serial FX loop is the only path the signal goes through). "parallel FX loop": a certain amount (maybe 50%, but I believe this amount can be adjusted 0%-100% with a knob or fader) bypasses the FX loop, and, at the same time, the remainder part of the signal goes through the FX loop. Then both amounts are merged back together. So signal is part dry, part wet (it could be 0% dry 100% wet, 50% dry, 50% wet, or 100% dry 0% wet, etc).
