Earlier known as Anantha Padmanabha Subrahmanya Temple, historical records and stone inscriptions revealed that “Subraya Temple” was the authentic ancient name dating back nearly 800 years. Along with the renaming, the shrine underwent complete ritualistic renovation, reconstruction, and re-consecration as per traditional scriptures. The Brahmakalasha ceremony was performed in a grand spiritual atmosphere with hundreds of devotees participating. A unique highlight of this sacred place is a peacock that appears daily during pooja time, believed by devotees to be a divine sign.
