Mother could turn almost anything into a fine meal especially in hard times. Here a can of Corned Dog (corned beef) is turned into a wonderful meal for the whole family. A wonderful corned dog pie with proper chips cooked in a chip pan in beef dripping with some baked beans and a proper salted farmhouse butter and a slice of bread for the chip butty.
