Have you guys heard Aki Kumar? He's a tremendous harp player and dynamic showman who's equally adept at straight ahead blues and his own patented blend of Bollywood influences and blues. He made a great debut straight ahead blues CD, "Don't Hold Back", and then went on to do several innovative releases on Sony India, Little Village, and his own label. Check him out! He performs often in all over the West Coast, especially in the South Bay/SF area. Aki and I have performed together all over Europe, in Russia, Chile, and in Festivals and shows in the States over the years as well.
