The film examines Dickinson’s life from her early days as a young schoolgirl to her later years as a reclusive artist, and also stars Jennifer Ehle (Fifty Shades Of Grey) and Keith Carradine (Nashville). Although Dickinson wrote more than 2,000 poems in her lifetime, only seven were published before her premature death in 1886. She never married and became increasingly reclusive as she got older. Directed by Terrence Davies and co- starring Jennifer Ehle A QUIET PASSION had its World Premiere at the 2016 Berlinale followed by a Masters presentation at the Toronto International Film Festival and has been hailed by critics as a masterwork.
