The lesson in this episode is look before you leap. I thought I had all of the details worked out before I started and just jumped in, but immediately made some costly mistakes. First mistake was gluing together those frames for the layers and then gluing those together to start assembly. Second was rounding over both sides. Both of these could have been prevented if I'd bothered to look at the drawing I made months ago, instead of cockily moving forward. Anyway, part of the "fun" is dealing with the problems you've created for yourself when you aren't prepared. And I'm already having too much fun...
