Ron kicks things off by adding a new account inside Infor M3. That account comes with a contact and a location restriction. Then, using Clarity Connect, he triggers the Test Customer Sync job. Instantly, the sync fires off, processes, and creates a new customer record in Shopify—Bagel Pub Franklin, complete with email, location assignment, billing, and shipping addresses. Next, Ron demonstrates how custom product catalogs are handled. In Infor M3, his developer has assigned “assortments”—basically curated sets of products—into two catalogs for the Bagel Market account: My Products – unique or special products just for this account. All Products – the full product range available. When the Test Assortment Sync runs, something powerful happens: Each catalog is generated with custom prices for this account. If a product doesn’t have pricing defined, it’s excluded (because no price = no order). Shopify then reflects these catalogs, named uniquely per account (BM4332-MP Catalog, BM4332-AP Catalog). Inside Shopify, Ron shows how the Bagel Market account went from “no catalogs” to having two, each populated with the exact right products and pricing.
