I wanted to see if it was possible to have a thriving, stable ecosystem without relying on traditional filtration methods. As the reef becomes more crowded and conditions become more competitive, corals will fight for every inch of space. Information about my own low tech reef tank setups 👇 I own four saltwater aquariums, a 10 gallon nano reef tank, two 20 gallon coral frag tanks and a 40 gallon shallow reef tank. All these fish tanks are set up without any filtration or high-tech aquarium equipment.
