My Endometriosis Stage IV & Endo Cancer Journey Part 2 | My Restaging Exploratory Surgery & recovery

A compilation of my 1st complex major surgery & the restaging exploratory laparotomy (2nd major surgery) all done within 2 months. I was diagnosed with Endometriosis Stage IV and after having my initial surgery, it has been found out that I have Endometrioid adenocarcinoma (an unexpected surprise). Hence I needed to undergo the 2nd surgery within 2 months to determine if I needed to have adjuvant chemotherapy. My biopsy result is reassuringly all negative now thanks be to God. I’m still on the road to recovery with further surgery planned in the next few months. I’m grateful for all the team- my consultants, the nursing staff and specialist nurses, physiotherapist, dietitian, my friends and family and my partner for all that they do to sssist and support me.
