Discover the Faroe Islands, an archipelago in between Iceland, Scotland and Norway. In this video I used the Sony A6700, with a ridiculous amount of different lenses. As much as I could bring on the plane! My main lens was the 50mm F1.8 which is such an amazing lens for making travel videos. Everything is shot in 4K 60fps and edited to be 25fps. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I did making it (with the help from my wife!) :) Shot & edited by me :) Music by Tunetank from Pixabay Soundeffects from Pixabay Voice-over: There is something mysterious.. or almost mythical about a group of islands in the middle of the ocean with a capital city called... 'Harbour of Thor'. The Faroe Islands... Somewhere far north... The wind never really stops here. Rivers flow peacefully through valleys, as they have done for thousands of years. Mountains rise straight out of the ocean and there are more waterfalls than you could possibly count! Houses stand close together as if they’ve learned over time that facing the elements is easier when you do it together. With more sheep than residents, sheep really are the kings of these islands. But don't be fooled by these chill animals... This isn’t a place that tries to welcome you. It asks you to slow down... to look closer... to accept that you’re not in control here. Being here feels grounding Breathing in the cold air, looking around, and exploring the mythical landscapes makes you wonder if the legends of trolls might actually be true… The Faroe Islands don’t try to impress... They don’t have to... They simply exist, and if you're lucky... Some day... you can experience this magical archipelago yourself. When we leave, we don't take much with us... Just a feeling. One that stays...
