Aviation video @ Kelly Field/Lackland Air Force Base (KSKF/SKF)! Filmed on 10/19/21, this features a training exercise between the local 182nd Fighter Squadron F-16s and the visiting 62nd Fighter Squadron F-35s. Its not often that other units come to Lackland to train with the local Vipers, especially since Draken is already stationed at Kelly to play the adversary role, and you can even see that they also participated in this exercise as well. This second part features the afternoon sorties of the day. The 62d Fighter Squadron is part of the US Air Force 56th Operations Group at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona, operating the Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II Fifth-Generation fighter aircraft. Similar to the 182nd FS, the 62nd FS also conducts advanced pilot training for USAF pilots in the newer F-35 platform. I hope you like this video!
