James Teer - Killed in Erdington Drive By / Dante Mullings Case (Birmingham)

James Teer, 20, was gunned down in Erdington, Birmingham, just before 7.30pm on Thursday, West Midlands Police said. Officers are now hunting the 'occupants of a dark-coloured vehicle' and have been scouring CCTV in a bid to trace the gunmen. Mr Teer's family are being supported by specialist officers following the 22nd murder probe in Birmingham this year. No-one has been arrested but the force said it would be increasing patrols in the area over the weekend. Superintendent Sarah Burton, of West Midlands Police, said: 'We have a specially trained family liaison officer supporting James' loved ones; they are totally devastated and inconsolable; they can't comprehend what's happened and want answers. 'They've asked for people to respect their privacy and allow them to grieve as a family. I also speak on the recent murder of Remal Hunt in #erdington and Dante Mullings case where three have been charged with murder today .
