It was reasonably great to snowboard in Oct. From the top to middle it is amazing to ride if you can go fast. But, at the bottom, there are a few spots has moguls and slushy which is not ideal for beginners. weather : pretty good, nice and warm. You would probably can just wear T shirt or just hoodie if you are comfortable riding. To make it short, if you have ikon, yes, you can go and enjoy the first weekend, if you need to pay for the tickets, it's your choice :) Definitely, it feels great and relaxing to go back to snowboarding in a year.
