GoPro Hero 3 underwater

Underwater video made with a GoPro Hero 3, shot while snorkeling underwater in Tenerife. The GoPro Hero 3 (I have the Black Edition) is an action camera you can use underwater, when using a protective case. It's a wonderful camera to bring on your snorkeling adventure! I caught many fish on film, while exploring the waters of Tenerife. I mainly used 30 FPS while filming my underwater snorkeling video. A few times I used 24 FPS when the water was really dark, and 48 FPS when there were no clouds on the day I was snorkeling, and there was a lot of sunshine. The video resolution settings I was working with were 1920x1080 pixels and 1280x960. This GoPro underwater video was shot both wide angle and normal angle. I wrapped the headstrap around my wrist while filming underwater, or just kept the GoPro Hero 3 in my hand. I didn't use the headstrap on my head this time, because I could get closer to the fish by just holding the GoPro camera it in my hand or wrapped around my wrist. Places where I shot this GoPro Hero 3 underwater video were Playa Del Duque, Playa de la Arena and El Puertito (the footage where you can see the divers). I actually saw water turtles while snorkeling in El Puertito, but while I was snorkeling underwater my battery suddenly died lol (even though it was fully charged). I really smacked my head that day haha, so I went back a second time, but without luck: no turtles that time. Luckily underwater turtles aren't the only awesome creatures Tenerife has to offer! I had an encounter with a bunch of happy fish that were either trying to kiss or attack me lol. I think the reflection of my camera was probably what draw them closer to me. The only annoying thing about that underwater video footage is the slight 'bokeh' in the scene. I had just switched batteries before filming that underwater scene, and probably didn't dry the protective case of my GoPro well, so tiny water droplets formed while snorkeling.
