Well, it's about time. I've had the idea for this music video was back in Decemeber of last year. I had no idea if I'd ever find the time to execute it though, and especially if I'd ever figure out how. I let it settle in my head until the time was right. When that time came, even though I was juggling three other major video projects at the same time, I managed to squeeze in any waking moment I had to work on this puppy. I'm glad I did. It's a showcase of the Rangers and Villians who never wanted to be evil/were forced into it/brainwashed, ect. I choose the 4 and 4 (Tommy/Ryan/HunterBlake/Trent. Astronema/Anton/Koragg/Jarrod) because I felt they were best suited for the emtion that I wanted to bring to the video. It covers their time evil and the aftermath suffered. I knew stepping into the video, that I wanted to do the full 6 minutes. The further I got into it, the less I understood why I had the desire. A 6 minute video is a B!TCH! But, alas, I'm thrilled with the outcome and very glad I didn't resort to cutting the song. I hope you all feel the same way I do about the video :) Q&A: How'd you make this?: All the editing was done in Sony Vegas, and all the effects were done in After Effects CS4. The rendering took place in Sony Vegas. How long did it take?: 23 days. Starting date was June 22nd. Ending date was July 15th. A few test shots were done in the months before that, trying to figure out what feel I wanted to create before I landed on the blue fog vision. The entire project has been in my head since the start of the year. Lastly, not that said people will be reading this far into the description, but any and ALL flames towards the use of Power Rangers combined with Avenged Sevenfold will be removed. Just like my Paint it Black video, I don't stand for that nonesense. I expect many and many of these comments...and like my previous videos, it doesn't phase me in the least bit.
