Day 6 in Cappadocia was different. This wasn’t just about views, cave hotels, or hot air balloons. Today, we went deeper into the real history of this land. With a local guide, we learned how Cappadocia survived through different empires from the Roman era to the Byzantine period and later the Ottoman Empire. How people once lived inside these caves. How they built underground cities to protect themselves. And how this region preserved its identity despite centuries of change. The more I travel, the more I realise places are not just beautiful they carry stories, struggles, and resilience. Cappadocia isn’t just a tourist destination. It’s history carved into stone. Alhamdulillah for the opportunity to witness and understand it beyond the surface.
