France Terror Attack: Calmness restored in Saint Quentin Fallavier

Calmness has been restored in the French city of Saint-Quentin-Fallavier after a terrorist attack on a local factory on Friday. Tensions cooled down ten hours after the accident happened when two men stormed the gas company, and exploded gas containers in the southeast French town in Isere Province. At least two people were wounded. A man was found decapitated at the site, with a flag of Islamic State (IS) aside. Military police's vehicles have been moving away, with only four or five policemen, crowds of journalists, as well as some curious residents still gathering at the site. "It's quiet, nothing too worrisome," said a local resident Victor. "There's no public security concerns before. So it is quite surprising that an attack happened here." According to local residents, the factory is located in the northern industrial zone of the city, where multiple chemical enterprises were based. What's more, it is only one kilometer away from a densely-populated residential area, and just more than 10 kilometers from an airport, which made many residents thinking more and deeper about terror threats. "We must be on an alert. It has always been a peaceful place since I lived here. But terrorist attacks can happen at anytime on anybody," said local resident Mamadou Ba. "I think this (terrorist attack) is not something that only demands our vigilance. It also relates to our society, system and education, and cannot be rooted out by only monitoring (terrorists) or sending them into prison," said Victor.
