Here is Mr. Don Rigsby and his Band - The Fly By Knights - recorded live on the Sterling Bluegrass Jamboree stage on February 15, 2020 in Mt. Sterling, Ohio before a packed house, performing the first four songs of the show: Hillbilly Heartache Six More Miles Tennesse Truck Drivin’ Man I’ve Just Seen the Rock of Ages This show was dedicated and in memorial to Mr. Gordon Payne, Sterling Bluegrass Jamboree House Band Master Fiddler , who just days ago passed on to Glory. The Fly By Knights Band members: Don Rigsby - Mandolin, Fiddle, Guitar, Lead Vocal Elmer Burchett - Banjo/Vocals Dustin Benson - Guitar/Vocals Tim Corbett - Bass Don Rigsby is one of the most talented men on today's bluegrass music scene. He began his professional career with “The Voice” Vern Gosdin, and has since played and performed with some of the greats, including Ralph Stanley, John Fogerty, Alan Jackson, Larry Cordle, Tony Rice, JD Crowe & The New South, The Bluegrass Cardinals, The Lonesome River Band, Peter Rowan, The Seldom Scene, and many more. In addition to his remarkable instrumental capabilities, Don is among a very small group of people that can call themselves world-class bluegrass singers. Over the past few years, Don has been in demand for both studio and performance work. In addition, he performs regularly with the Band of Ruhks, Flashback, and his own band; Don Rigsby & The Fly By Knights. Don also instructs music at several workshops including Kaufman Camp, Augusta, and Allegheny Echoes, and individual lessons near his home in Eastern Kentucky.
