Very similar to my beloved CB actually. That's why I probably immediately felt comfortable with it. But how about spirited riding like shown here? Well. Still tons of fun. I really enjoyed the wild ride!! Although it maybe require bigger balls than usual or, alternatively, more than 8 years of experience on a wobbly CB500 to be able to ride it fast. Because indeed that thing's suspension is rather soft. You can see it bouncing around quite a bit in those tricky S corners. But if you're okay with the sponginess you'll love it in spirited riding mode too. It's a bit of a bummer really that I was too stupid to remove these uberlong hero blops/Angstnippel though. Because they actually prevented me from leaning down further. I've mentioned it in my XSR review vlog: I had the problem of my boots getting trapped between foot peg and the pillion's peg mounting bars as soon as the foot peg got a little more pressure from the road's surface when scraping. Peg scraping can only be done in a safe-ish manner as long as the pegs remain foldable and movable. Which wasn't the case any longer when I tried to lean further down. Hence why I call this pace 'semi-hoon'. Plus I didn't like the idea of asking my parents for money in case I crash this thing ;) The tires by the way were completely new to me as well but they had zero trouble with providing very solid grip for these kind of lean angles. Apart from that one brief moment. It was my own fault though because the tarmac in that section isn't 100% foolproof. I know this fact and should've lowered my pace. Well. I guess I was caught in way too much excitement.... --- Google-Maps: http://bit.ly/cb500_ox bike: 2016 Yamaha XSR700 ABS exhaust: stock (obviously) tires: Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp --- my camera: http://amzn.to/2bGJq6x my RAW camera: http://amzn.to/2b2jB17 my event camera: http://amzn.to/2b3nnIr my selfie stick: http://amzn.to/2b8DfWj my camera gimbal: http://amzn.to/2bpHA8x my audio recorder: http://amzn.to/2bnozBw --- my editing software: http://amzn.to/2b2kJBK --- my boots: http://amzn.to/2bkX11E my helmet: http://amzn.to/2bkXSPP my knee sliders: http://amzn.to/2bkXYa9 --- camera: GoPro Hero4 Black Edition / 1080p/50 / SuperView / ProTune ON / chin mounted audio: ZOOM H1 (see the tutorial video: • HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR MOTORCYCLE ONBOARD SOU... ) edit: Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 & After Effects CS6 Color Correction: Filmconvert
