In a major development in the Sabarimala gold theft case, the Kerala Special Investigation Team (SIT) conducted a raid at the Bengaluru residence of prime accused Potti Unnikrishnan. The SIT, appointed by the Kerala High Court, is probing the alleged misappropriation of gold-plated copper moulds that adorned the stone carvings and sculptures at the Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple.
