Ditch Hole Saws! Use your CNC with a Video Camera and Paper Tools.

A common challenge with CNC is aligning an existing part, such as a piece of wood with a hole in it to make gradual iterative changes. But that's life! In this video, I show how we can do an everyday thing like mounting a grommet in a piece of plywood without stupid hole saws that I can't stand, no drill press, just my CNC machine. I added a video camera and I use Paper Tools with its Bore kit that's like a set of flexible hole saws printed on a single piece of paper. Put the paper where you want the hole, it cuts it. Draw and write directly on your material, even adjust the size of the hole after you've picked up your part from the CNC. Put it back as many times as you want, in any position and the camera will find it and make the change you want.
