this was her first ever time at Walmart, I know, shocker as Walmart is, sadly, a wonderful place to train a SDIT as there is a ton of different stuff sold there along with a crazier environment. She was a little more distracted this outing as well as her next, but I think, that for her first time and the distraction of being talked to, she did really well. Did she make mistakes, yes, she is still in training and I don't expect her to be perfect but they were also mistakes I was already prepared for her to make as we are working on overcoming those issues. Were said mistakes disruptive and persistent? No, they were minor mistakes and the second I'd correct her with a simple no, or leash pressure, then she would stop immadietly and get back on task, and that's why I am taking her out more, because she responds accordingly. Her turns have been wonderful, but something I now noticed she started to struggle with is her automatic stop sits, when I'd stop she would keep getting out in front, and though a lot of the time she would fix it herself, Its still something we really need to work on, along with her issue of trying to see beyond the corner before I do, so she'd sway n front.
