VIETNAM Mekong Delta River Tour with Children (kid/family friendly)

Wanting to visit the Mekong River and experience the Mekong Delta, but also have to worry about travelling with kids? This video shows how we got on taking just our 5-year-old boy with us on a Mekong Delta tour. Ticking off a personal bucket-list goal. We took an early taxi from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, leaving our other children with a babysitter. Once the taxi arrived, we had no idea where to go, so we asked the driver to look for shops or anywhere we could book a tour. (our taxi driver had no idea). We found a few carts and shops and we then entered and booked a tour on the spot. The weather was a little wet, but by the time we were out walking and on the boats, it had stopped. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and were very happy with the content and pictures we got in the end. Our 5-year-old was super pleased with the tour and all that he'd experienced, it was very child friendly, but only for kids of school age preferably, as they can sit and listen. We would have been able to book this tour as a group, or including transfers from HCMC, but we preferred to experience it on our own terms and work on our own schedule, hence why we took the gamble on just turning up.
