Doechii & JT — Alter Ego | Live Drag Performance by Natasha Homophobia

After actually breaking my leg in a lip-sync battle (yes, it’s on camera in the first part of the video), I wasn’t 100% sure I’d even make it to the All Stars season of Dragon — Kazakhstan’s very own “Drag Race,” if Drag Race had no RuPaul, no cameras, no money, and ran mostly on caffeine, glitter, and queer spite. But then I thought: wait a minute! How many drag queens have managed to break their leg by launching themselves into a split from a DJ booth? After answering myself: “none worth mentioning”, I realized it would be positively criminal to waste such a golden artistic opportunity and not — quite literally — make a song and dance about it. And, naturally, being the shameless attention whore I am, I shoved my trauma straight down everyone’s throat. Here’s what I came up with: channeling the most badass, empowering image of a physically challenged character in cinema — Cherry Darling from Planet Terror — and setting it to an absolute banger by Doechii and JT.
