I know, people say "Just do it" so you don’t overthink your actions and go for what you want. But I might say that "Just do it" is incomplete and there is more to it. Intentions are important, the person who is doing the thing is important, and from where you are operating is important. That’s why when you just do it, you probably won’t get what you want, but you will learn why it didn’t work and you will get to know yourself and the process. And yes, you should do it, do it to discover yourself, do it for you to get your now self. The process is the good part, and through doing, we find our own path and we find ourselves.
