SKILL LEVEL: Beginner You will need the following basic crocheting skills to make this pattern: CROCHET STITCHES: -Magic Ring (MR) -Single crochet (sc) -Chain Stitch (ch) -Single crochet increase (inc) single crochet decrease (dec) hdc - half double crochet dc - double crochet ss - slip stitch FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: depends on the yarn and crochet hook used. my toy measures 5.9 in (15 cm) You will need: Yarn (I used plush yarn but you can use any yarn you want) – beige and brown Crochet hook (I used 4 mm) Stitch marker Stuffing Safety eyes (I used 10 mm) or you can embroider them later with black thread Small bead for nose Yarn needle Stitches used: Sc- single crochet Inc – increase Mr- magic ring Dec – decrease Hdc – half double crochet dc- double crochet ss – slip stitch The pattern also uses 2 special stitches - hdc 4 together and 4 dc cluster (these stitches are explained in the pattern) Notes: usually I always start amigurumi parts with mr (magic ring), but with plush yarn, I find it hard to pull the yarn, so I start with chain 2, sc in 2nd chain from the hook instead of a magic ring.
