No doubt, Orakzai is one of the most beautiful tribal districts. The district is replete with numerous scenic spots, waterfalls, thick forests, mountain peaks and lush green pastures. The enormous natural beauty and scenic spots can be seen in Kalaya, the headquarters of Orakzai tribal district, Samana and Sampog Tops, Gulistan Forte, Ferozkhel, Zera, Landoka, Nanwar Cave, Toi Khala and Ali Cheena Waterfalls, Sikh Monument, Spinkai and other scenic sites. Orakzai is indeed a destination worth exploring. In this video documentary, the camera has captured a number of serene places, waterfalls and heritage sites and the shots of paragliding, cycle and jeep races, horse and camel dances taken from the recent Orakzai Festival. The short documentary is aimed at promoting tourism and sports activities and attracting more tourists to the scenic sites in Orakzai. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA) is making strenuous efforts to conserve the existing tourist spots in addition to identifying and developing the new scenic sites in the merged districts in order to promote the culture, sports and tourism activities in the hitherto neglected areas.
