While we welcome artists of other genres, the host has the authority to “gong” down any inappropriate act for the audience, therefore, please prepare clean versions of your act. 2) Starting August 2025, the Performance fee to Open Mic on the website is $5. Bay Area soulful singer Khalia returns to Clarion Performing Arts Center as the monthly open mic host — a full-circle moment at the very space where her music journey began. As the first open mic she ever attended, Clarion helped shape Khalia into the artist she is today. With a focus on connection, encouragement, and community, she’s excited to help spotlight local musicians and continue cultivating an inclusive, uplifting space for artists of all levels. The event will be live-streamed on our YouTube Channel. Bring your music and put on your dancing shoes! It's time to share your talents with a group of friends!
