2 Year Cello Progression (Adult beginner with zero previous music experience). Bach & Mendelssohn.

2 years ago I started learning cello, without having any experience in any type of music before. This is how far I've progressed in this time. First song - Bach: Suite No. 1 in G Major, BWV 1007: VI. Gigue Second song - Mendelssohn: Lied Ohne Worte, Op. 109 With these videos I applied to two "folk" high schools to study classical cello, I also travelled and auditioned at two other schools. I could make my own choice (it was my teachers choice) on the two pieces, the only requirement was for the pieces to be of contrasting character and from different time periods. I'm very excited to so far be accepted into two schools! I'm still waiting for an answer from the last one.
