On May 27, the Global Evaluation Initiative (GEI) launched Glocal Evaluation Week 2025 with an open invitation to reimagine evaluation as a powerful force for inclusion, collaboration, and transformation. As 2030 approaches, our world continues to face persistent challenges: rising inequality, growing radicalization and political polarization, and declining trust in institutions. These issues are deeply interconnected and collectively threaten our ability to achieve our global development goals. During the global launch of Glocal Evaluation Week 2025, experts from diverse fields came together to reflect on what it takes to rebuild trust, foster collaboration, and move forward together toward a better future.
